Neverwinter: Ways to Make Astral Diamonds at Level 70
Astral Diamonds are in-game currency in Neverwinter. There are far fewer opportunities to acquire Astral Diamonds than Gold. Astral Diamonds cannot be directly traded between players, but it can be used as trading currency in the Auction House to buy or sell items.
It has to mention that you won't make much Astral Diamonds until you finish the extended tutorial, also known as levels 1-69. In this article, ways are provided for you to make Astral Diamonds.
- Do a couple of skirmishes every day.
- Do a few dungeon runs every day, both for the AD bonus and for items to salvage.
- Do the repeatable (sometimes weekly) quests that give decent AD rewards.
- Play the AH - Buy low, sell high.
- Focus on the 2x events. For example, collect/buy enchants during 2xEnchant weekends when the supply is high, and sit on them for weeks or months until there is a 2xRefinement weekend, when the demand is high. Likewise, collect items for salvaging until there is a 2xAD event. Patience is the key here.
- Play the ZAX. For me, that is the big one - I have made up to 1M AD in a week, but this is risky.
- You can still make AD from professions if you know what you are doing, but it is not as easy as it used to be. Check the AH prices for items you can make and focus on those that will give a decent profit. There are some opportunities in Jewelcrafting (precursors to personalized rings and jewel kits), Alchemy (not just the Unified elements, but also for example the low-level potions that people need to rank up alchemy), Leadership (making resonance stones etc) and some of the armor making professions (armor kits). Weaponsmithing and Artificing are mostly pointless, though.
- Masterwork crafting is a huge AD sink, but you can make some AD by making items that people leveling up Masterwork need.
- Consider VIP (rank 7, I think) to get rid of AH fees. This will save you a lot of AD in the long run
